Autism and Lambeth
BBi was an autistic project run privately by Bill
Goodyear, an expert in the field. It ceased operating in 2003 amid great
controversy when the staff were dismissed and the project effectively
closed.
Mr Goodyear still offers services utilising his
expertise in the field. We have no comment to make here
Lambeth may at least have learnt from this experience
by considering seriously its allocation of places to autistic youngsters in the
borough both in mainstream and special. We shall see. |
