Charles Edward Brooke is a split site 11 -18 Girls
School. The school to its credit takes special needs seriously and has a high
percentage of children with special needs.By all accounts it is well run and an
OK place to work.
The present Headteacher is very respectful of the
rights of trade unions and NUT is very strong within the school. Issues of
concern to the union are normally sorted out well within the school.
You can guarantee support from the rep.
In line with NUT policy on bureaucracy, there is
only one management meeting per week lasting 60 minutes.There is no morning
briefing.
There are no hidden clauses when applying for posts,
