Lambeth Borough at one time had an excellent reputation for equal opportunities, in particular in relation to Maternity Leave. By and large, it still has a good tradition, although not so much in teaching. Lambeth Teacher is intent in giving a wide coverage in this section to equal opportunities, making information available on a wide reaching number of issues.We consider that the union must campaign as a minimum for the rights of all peoples needs to be met, irrespective of gender, sexuality, race, religion or disability.In this section we will reflect views, give information on LEA policies, circulate union guidelines and offer legal advice where available.In this section there will increasingly be documentation which is more universally downloaded in PDF format.
