Henry Cavendish has been one of the first schools to
declare its support for the principle that only qualified teachers (or teachers
on an employment based route to QTS) shall teach whole classes.
The Head has made it clear to us not only that, but
asks what is the point of graduating, going into a school, but not wanting to
qualify? Quite.
NUT membership is strong in the school and probably
boasts the longest serving rep. that we have.
The committment of the school to teachers, pupils and
parents is clear If it is your intention to apply for a permanent post there,
Lambeth Teachers Association has no hesitation in supporting your decision.
