Jessop Primary has been one of the first schools to
declare its support for the principle that only qualified teachers (or teachers
on an employment based route to QTS) shall teach whole classes.
During the government imposed management
re-organisation (TLRs) the union was presented with no major problem.
NUT recognises the committment of the school to
teachers, pupils and parents. If it is your intention to apply for a permanent
post there, Lambeth Teachers Association has no hesitation in supporting your
decision.
Jessop is a community school in central Lambeth and
the Head and other senior managers are included in NUT membership. Relations
between the head and the union are excellent and do not hesitate to apply for a
post if you are so inclined. |
