Conditions of Service Policies Under Negotiation - shortly to become LEA Policy.

Negotiations are continuing in the following areas:

• Aggression and Violence at work
• Bullying and Harrassment
• Covering Additional Duties and Responsibilities
• Casual and temporary employment
• HIV in employment
• Job Share
• Long Service Award
• Politically Restricted Posts

At present, we are unable to publish all of these policies because of restrictions laid down by the authority. We would hope to in the near future have no such problem.

The advice accompanying these policies may not yet be on-line. If you require information which is not readily available, please ring 020 8677 2812.

Procedures laid down by the authority may be varied or even ignored by the Governing Body of any school. It is important to check with the school's management if this is the case.

It is worth noting that in the case of the school being liable as the result of any case being brough against it by an employee, if the governors do not follow Lambeth's advice, they will be liable alone.

When we have draft policies, we would wish to put (at least) the key points on the web so that members can air their views.
